I used this hexagon shaped backdrop for an outdoor, boho styled wedding for one of my clients. I wasn't sure if this would be of good enough quality based on the price. But upon arrival, I was very impressed with the overall quality of the item. The wood is a lightweight type of wood which is perfect for events where the backdrop has to be brought in, set up and broken down in short windows of time. Putting it together was relatively easy and it only took about 30 minutes. After I initially assembled the item, I then removed only the corner screws on each side, and transported the item to the wedding site in 2 separate pieces that easily fit on the back of a truck or in the back of my SUV once the seats were down. From there, a quick 4 screws later, this backdrop was assembled at the venue and already had the macrame hanging from it, which I had previously attached at home prior to the event in order to allow for easier set up on the site. Aside from that, we were able to achieve the overall look with some centerpieces and other florals that I previously assembled. This set up was quick and easy and the lightweight wood allowed us to even quickly relocate this backdrop after the ceremony so that it could also be moved indoors as a backdrop for the sweetheart table during the reception. I would recommend this item to anyone looking for easy assembly and transport. As a side note, I did choose to place a couple of sandbags at the base of the backdrop, on the feet of it in order to make sure that it was stable and couldn't easily be knocked over by a strong wind or an unruly child before or after the ceremony.
