Ethereal Winter Wonderland Theme Table Decorations

Although the soothing white hues are the classic winter wonderland colors, we didn’t want our tablescape to be too white. Thus, we decided to incorporate shimmery colors into our color palette to perfectly complement the all-white accents. And since winter wonderland theme decorations are all about the shine, shimmer, sparkles, and glitter, we drew inspiration from the landscapes sparkling with glistening frost in the sunlight and draped our silver sequin tablecloth on the table. Boasting outstanding shine and elegance, the sequin tablecloth bedazzled with thousands of shimmery silver sequins has brought a charismatic sparkle centerstage while creating a glamorous base for our whimsical winter wonderland table decor. Moreover, taking a cue from the blanket of snow paving the earth, we also unfurled a gorgeous white velvet table runner along the middle of the tablescape. With the lustrous sheen finish and soft velvety texture, our plush velvet table runner perfectly emulated the soft cotton-like carpet of snow which beautifully complemented the winter wonderland theme.

Place Settings

Once the foundation for our tablescape was all set, we moved on to the table settings. Because we knew that the secret to curating a fascinating winter wonderland table setup lies in using nature-inspired elements, we were in search of chargers that’ll somewhat mimic the unique design of the enchanting snowflakes to invoke the delightful winter charm. So we decided to give a chance to our clear scalloped edged charger plates and boy did they shine through! Featuring crystal clear acrylic construction and chic scalloped edges with distinctive baroque design on the outer rim, these chargers fit the bill perfectly. Because the scalloped edged design worked so well, we ended up pairing the charger plates with our white and silver scalloped design dinner plates and silver cutlery set with decorative handles along with sleek silver stem flutes and goblets for an elegant winter wonderland table setting. However, when it came to choosing napkins, we haven’t looked any further than our white velvet napkins that matched perfectly with the table runner. But we didn’t just stop there, in order to augment the luxurious allure of our setup, we have tied the napkins with clear craft wire and adorned them with our ivory pearl and rhinestone brooches which emulated the fluffy snowballs freshly fallen from the sky gleaming in the light.

Centerpiece

When it comes to themed tablescapes, there is no doubt that the table centerpieces are the star of the show. Keeping this in mind, it was only fitting that we opt for a striking centerpiece that’ll not only emanate grandeur but will also help tie in that whole feeling of a winter wonderland. Hence, we have positioned our glorious white glittered Manzanita tree with acrylic chains on our table using a round mirror to double its whimsical visual appeal. The glimmering acrylic crystal chains looked like glistening icicles dripping down the spindly branches laden with heavy white snow whereas the mirrored ball LED string lights which we creatively perched over the tree have added heaps of charm and glow to our winter wonderland centerpiece.

Additional Tabletop Decorations

Because winter wonderland theme decorations are incomplete without a touch of romantic glow, we placed a couple of silver metal crystal chain candle holders with white votive candles on either side of our tree centerpiece as you can see in the setup video. However, to further elevate our tabletop decor, we also scattered a few silver votive candles nestled inside clear votive candle holders all around the tablescape that oozed a soft and warm radiance onto the table. Furthermore, to cap off our winter wonderland table decor, we have also thrown a handful of ivory silk petals into the mix that has brought a lovely floral flair to our winter-inspired tablescape.

Backdrop and Chair Decor

While our table was brimming with gorgeous winter-inspired accents, the chairs didn’t look the part. So in order to keep the majestic winter wonderland theme going, we have traded our regular dining chairs with silver-toned chivari chairs which helped reinforce the wintry colors. However, for the chair decorations, instead of hunting for the right chair accents we settled on decking out the chairs with linens and decorations that were already in-use. Hence, we have effortlessly dressed the chair backs with white velvet runners using pearl and rhinestone brooches to stylishly pin the runners keeping them in place.

Moreover, since we wanted to imbue an authentic winter wonderland vibe, creating a backdrop for our tablescape to complete the scene made perfect sense. Hence, we have draped white chiffon double layered backdrop curtains on a heavy duty metal backdrop stand that has brought finesse and serenity to our winter wonderland setup.
