End Summer on a High Note with our Backyard Party Setup

Ceiling Decorations

Because we were setting up for a daytime backyard party to bask in the warmth of the sun while we still can, we chose to arrange our dining table and drinks table under a roofed area to avoid seating the guests directly under the blazing sun. Thus, in terms of decorations, we decided to set the ball rolling by creatively decking out the ceiling above the table to accentuate the aesthetics up a notch. While our online store is loaded with a variety of ceiling decor accessories, from colorful paper lanterns and pinwheels to ceiling poms poms and hanging decorations, we were drawn to our lush artificial flower and foliage garlands and hanging glass terrariums. Using our lifelike willow leaf garlands with fronds and cream-colored silk peony garlands we embellished our patio beams and also suspended a few teardrop terrariums in varying heights filled with our preserved reindeer moss, assorted fake succulents, and pine cones which exuded the perfect luxuriant seasonal touch to our end of summer backyard party setup. Moreover, we also chose to incorporate some lighting into our decor and suspended our bulb string lights which stylishly lit up our outdoor space when the sun went down.

Backdrop

Since we wanted to place the drinks on a table set by the wall, it was only fitting that we creatively decorated the backdrop wall to give a peppy charm to the drinks station. Taking cue from the bubbling champagne and beer, we arranged our champagne bottle and goblet balloons on the wall and added a string of white round balloons in varying sizes in the middle which perfectly emulated the frothy and foamy bubbles.

Linens

As soon as all the backdrop and ceiling decorations were in their place, we moved on to our backyard party table setup. Since we were going for a posh look, we gave our dining table a luxurious drape with our lustrous teal-colored satin tablecloth because teal strikes a perfect balance between both summer and fall colors while also imbuing a sumptuous flair. To bring in the glitz and glamour without it being over the top, we accented the satin tablecloth with shimmering silver sequin table runners creating a perfect base that looked absolutely imperial and classy. For the drinks station, we thought it would be nice to use a lovely summery color that’ll add a charming flair to our backyard decor. So we decided to simply swathe a blush-hued big payette sequin tablecloth on a table that was set by the wall which brought a gorgeous oomph to our outdoor party decorations.

Table Settings

Once all the basics were done, it was now time for the place settings. In order to elevate the chic aesthetics of our tablescape, we decided not to settle on those flimsy paper plates for our alfresco meal. Instead, we have opted for our disposable white and gold diamond rimmed square plates and placed them over exquisite gold beaded chargers. The disposable white square dinner plates with gold diamond design looked extremely elegant when paired with the metallic round gold chargers and made clean up after the party a breeze. To further elevate the modern appeal of our table, we topped the dinner plates with our geometric design paper napkins which brought finesse to our refined backyard party table settings.

Table Decorations

With the vibrant base colors and bold place settings, using sleek centerpiece decorations made perfect sense. Keeping that in mind, we couldn’t look past our conjoined geometric metal flower vase racks to add a sophisticated floral touch to our tablescape. Featuring intricate gold wired structure and conjoined geometric vase formation with clear glass tube holders nestled beautifully in the center, our geometric metal flower rack looked even more stunning when we bedecked it with our artificial tall white and purple calla lilies, lavender-colored blooms, and faux foliage stems.

However, when it came to illuming our backyard party table, flickering candles set in gorgeous candle holders is something every tablescape designer swears by. Thus, we arranged a variety of geometric candle holders on either side of our modish centerpiece which exuded a soft and mesmerizing glow and warmth onto the table.

Chair Decor

Because we were going for lavish backyard party decorations that are fit for any celebration, we accentuated our aesthetics by adding a little something to our chairs as well. We adorned our chair backs with chiffon sashes and knotted a succulent plant to elegantly tie our end of summer backyard party decorations together.
