Embrace the Bohemian Flair of Our Moss Easter Theme

Embrace the Bohemian Flair of Our Moss Easter Theme

Easter is almost three weeks away, but are you already stocking up on creative ideas for your table? So are we – running around a table at the last moment isn’t for us! To be honest, we’ve been absolutely in love with our reindeer moss since its arrival and thus, there was no doubt that it would become a part of our Easter tablescape. Are you eager to know about our arrangement? Check out the photos below and read on to know how exactly we’ve done it!

    Linens

Because moss decor doesn’t pair well with a classic solid-colored tablecloth, choosing the right linens was pretty challenging. Since there is something rustic about moss, we decided to bet on lace, and it worked out perfectly– our white floral lace tablecloth has accentuated the serene flair of moss, transforming our plain tabletop into a perfect canvas for a Bohemian setup. In terms of colors, white is not obligatory here – if you want to make a smoother transition between the tablecloth and the “runner”, you can go for ivory, blush, or even light blue (you can also skip the tablecloth and spread the moss atop a bare rustic wooden table). As for the “table runner” part, there is no need to use our loose moss if you don’t want it to be everywhere after the party ends – to save you from excess cleanup; we are at your service with our moss table runner, which features a thin fishnet grid that holds the moss in place.

    Place Settings

Once all the basics were done, we’ve proceeded to the place settings. As for the dinnerware, we didn’t look any further than our porcelain plates, which contrasted beautifully with the green moss runner and the lace tablecloth. To avoid overkill, we haven’t added any charger plates, but if you want, you can experiment with the gold chargers from our extensive dinnerware line. To accentuate the gold rims on our porcelain plates, we’ve settled on our gold baroque-style cutlery, which charmingly complemented our floral lace tablecloth. Since no Easter is complete without cute bunnies, we decided to top off our place settings with the bunny style napkin folds – in our opinion, it is an eco-friendly option to save on expensive theme decorations and to weave a personalized touch into any décor. We also have amazing plate chargers for sale

    Centerpiece

Since we wanted to carry on with our moss theme when assembling a centerpiece, we decided not to use traditional vases for our blossoms. Instead, we utilized our bark & moss flower baskets. Accented with natural brown bark, these lovely boxes have elegantly complemented the moss runner without blending in with it. To echo our pink porcelain plates, we’ve filled our planters with pink roses, hydrangeas, tulips, and sprays of baby breath (still, it is not obligatory – you can use any seasonal flowers within your palette). To infuse our setup with that special spirit of festivity and to achieve a balance between the planters, we’ve placed our cage style candle holder in the middle – you can see how beautifully it pairs with the moss and bark!

    Additional Accessories

Though everything was in its place, the entire setup looked a bit dull. In order to spruce it up with a colorful splash, we haven’t looked any further than decorative Easter eggs – most of them were scattered chaotically, while a few were put into lovely nests , which were made from our preserved moss. It’s worth noting that these eggs are store-bought. But if you are striving not to leave the waste footprint after your celebration ends, you can create them on your own by using real eggs and organic tints.

Whether you buy Easter eggs or make them by yourself, we strongly recommend you complement these colorful tokens of a new life by decorating your feature wall with our assorted flower wall mats. With life-like roses, peonies, hydrangeas, and begonia flowers attached to bendable grid mats, these artificial vertical gardens feature white, green, pink, and fuchsia colors, making them a perfect match for our colorful Easter eggs.

The tablescape has exceeded all our expectations – it’s so colorful and “juicy” like the spring season itself! And what’s more, it’s so easy and inexpensive to assemble! So, what’s your opinion about the given setup? How would you improve it? Have you already come up with your own one? Please share your thoughts and ideas with us in the comments below!
