The summer continues, and with a new month comes another Tablescape Design! This month, we’ve been hankering for some summer fun and sun, and what’s a better way to celebrate than a lovely summer picnic? Our Tablescape for this month features the iconic look of a classic picnic table, with a modern eye to spruce things up!

The foundation of this lovely picnic table design begins with a picnic table cloth. We opted with black, because although nontraditional, it gives a sort of sophistication to the look we are trying to achieve. We then layered a faux burlap fringe runner and added in our table setting and centerpieces.

Our Table Setting begins with a placemat that was created out of our roll burlap and lace. We used a black beaded charger with a dinner plate on top of it, and finished it off with a burnt orange colored polyester napkin tied together with a burlap ribbon. The Centerpiece were made with Glass Block Vases wrapped in the same lace that we used as the placemats. A burlap ribbon is tied to keep the lace in place. The faux flowers used in this setup are sunflowers, pink rosebuds, and terracotta tres beau silk roses.
