Bring in the Magic with Our Christmas Table Decorations

Since Christmas is a holiday filled with the finest holiday traditions, it was only fitting that we played around the classic and time-tested color combinations to bring that festive cheer to our dining table. But because we were also looking to infuse a classy and modish allure into our setup, going with Christmas dinner table decorations that focused on only red and green hues just wasn’t going to cut it. Besides, things can quickly take a turn for the worse if you’re not careful with the juxtaposition of those exuberant red and green accents. So we decided to pair the color of the season with pops of gold because nothing says celebration quite like some bold gold accents ingeniously incorporated into the festive holiday color story, don’t you agree! Thus, to set the scene for our Christmas table set up, we’ve swathed a plush deep red velvet tablecloth on our table layering it with a gold sequin table runner along the middle. The mesmeric sheen and luster of the sumptuous jewel-toned table linen coupled with the dazzling shimmer of the metallic runner have truly brought out the festive magic of the season. As soon as we were done with the base of our tablescape, centerpieces were next in line. And because we think that a festive tablescape calls for multiple centerpieces and not just one, we decided to display a couple of candleholder and floral centerpieces on our Christmas table for a posh allure. Since candles are essentially a must-have in any dining table decor, we were sure that decorative candleholders would work pretty well as one of our Christmas table centerpieces. Additional Tabletop Decor

Because greenery is a classic holiday decor element, we decided to bring a dose of nature and elegance to our Christmas tablescape with the addition of an evergreen garland and a few pine cones. So we have snaked down our artificial boxwood leaf garland around the table centerpieces, whereas, the natural dusted pine cones were creatively staggered on the table runner. While the lush green garland lent an outdoorsy charm to our red and gold Christmas table decorations, the white dusted pine cones looked as if they were plucked straight from Jack Frost’s icy orchard which added a wonderful woodsy wintery look to our table arrangement.

Place Settings

Once we were satisfied with our central Christmas table decorations, it was down to the place settings. Backdrop

Considering that our Christmas tablescape was the perfect blend of grandeur and upscale sophistication, we decided to tone it down a bit by setting up a neutral backdrop. Thus, we have draped our white chiffon and polyester dual layer backdrop curtains behind the tablescape using a heavy backdrop stand that exuded a refined and graceful flair. Although the white curtain backdrop looked perfect as it is, we wanted to add a festive oomph factor to our Christmas table set up. So we ended up embellishing our backdrop and ceiling with our glimmering crystal beaded ceiling drape curtains which accentuated the magical festive feel up by several notches!
