BackdropSince it is no secret that any great holiday decor starts with a festive backdrop, we decided to set the ball rolling with a glorious St. Patrick's Day backdrop to bring the luck of the Irish to our dessert table. Thus, to highlight the iconic green and gold colors in our St. Patrick’s Day party decorations, we have effortlessly draped shimmering green metallic foil curtains on the wall paneled with our white foam peel and stick tiles using the self-adhesive backing that instantly added Irish cheer to the space. And because there isn’t anything that says “party” more like some balloons, we’ve spelled out the reason for the party with metallic gold mylar letter balloons adding a green shamrock-shaped mylar balloon to the mix for a nod to the Irish lucky charm. |

Table LinensOnce the backdrop was all set, we moved on to outfitting our table which was pushed back against the backdrop wall. Considering the perky and shimmering St. Patrick’s Day backdrop and the dazzling tabletop accents we had in mind for our St. Patrick’s Day table decorations, it was only fitting that we toned it down a bit with a neutral tablecloth. Hence, we’ve swathed a gleaming white linen tablecloth on the table and paired it with a delicately fashioned green organza overlay featuring stunning embroidered leaf motifs and lustrous satin borders that has injected just the perfect amount of glam and style into the party decor. |

However, when it came to arranging the drinks, we filled up our set of glass beverage dispensers and perched some small gold rimmed glasses on a gold metal serving tray to keep the green drinks coming. As for the dinnerware, we have opted for our gold diamond rimmed square dinner plates and paper napkins that complemented well with all the other serveware on the table. |

Tabletop DecorationsAs soon as all the basics were done, it was now time to jazz up our St. Patrick’s Day dessert table decor with holiday-inspired accents and decorations to celebrate Irish pride. Because beer and booze are mainstays of St. Patty’s Day celebrations, we decided to display a fun sign using our marquee light box to help wash away some of the guilt of drinking (if there’s any) before evening! |

Moreover, to truly get into the spirit of the holiday, we’ve shaped a couple of green metallic foil fringe garlands as shamrocks bringing the luck of the Irish to our St. Patrick’s Day dessert bar. Whereas, the green clover leaf garlands which were snaked down along the middle and around the serve ware and decorations have enlivened the table with their amazing lush green appeal. |

In order to remind the guests to look for that elusive pot of gold (or candies) after the brunch, we thought of adding a few pots of gold to our tabletop decor. The small black pots filled with gold acrylic ice crystals to the brim perfectly emulated the pots of gold at the end of the rainbow and added a sparkle to the decor. |

While the mini gold pots looked adorable, they weren’t the only precious decor on the table. We also arranged a few varying sized gold treasure chests and loaded them with glossy green and white faux pearls which made ideal showpieces for our St. Patrick’s Day table decorations. Furthermore, in order to bring everything together and add a luxurious charm to the dessert station, we scattered around a handful of gold candy coins and gold silk petals spreading magic onto the table. |
