Bask in the Romance with Our Alluring Table Decorations

Table Backdrop

Since we were looking for a table arrangement that boasts intimacy and romance, we decided to go for a sweetheart style table set up rather than the usual face to face seating arrangement to take things up a notch. As with any sweetheart table decor, the table backdrop is always a good place to start with. Because we had arranged our table by the wall, we decided to stylishly drape our long sheer white curtain panels on our heavy duty backdrop stand overlapping them over one another to create a graceful yet exquisite table backdrop. In order to add a classy yet sparkling oomph factor to our decor, we ended up installing a second backdrop stand in front of the table as seen in the video and suspended our glittering gold circle garlands in varying heights from the top of our stand alternating them with gold diamond chains for a riveting allure. The shimmering gold circle dots when paired with the scintillating rhinestone diamonds embedded in a metallic gold metal chain has added a glamorous charm to our date night decor.

Linens

Once we were satisfied with our backdrop decorations, it was time to focus all our attention on our dining table top decor. With our store is brimming with an eclectic range of exquisite tablecloths, picking linens that impart opulence with panache could have been a challenge if it weren’t for our imperial sequin tablecloths. Thus, incorporating grandeur and great style, we have swathed our sumptuous gold-colored big Payette sequin tablecloth over a plain white tablecloth to give a flawless dual-toned drape to our sweetheart table. The premium white table linen underneath beautifully highlighted the gold Payette sequins that are intricately sewn all over the mesh table linen exuding just the perfect amount of luster and sheen to our tablescape. In case you aren’t a fan of layering different colored linens, you can also choose to pair your gold sequin tablecloth with a glossy gold satin table linen for sparkling but monochromatic table decor.

Place Settings

As soon as the linens were in place, we moved on to our place settings for two. Because we wanted to elegantly reinforce the glorious color scheme, we didn’t look any further than our white and gold round charger plates to accentuate our gold and white table decor to the next level. With the ornate appeal of our antique chargers featuring embossed baroque design rims and a glossy metallic gold finish, our place settings looked absolutely regal when we placed our round gold and white embossed dinner plates with chic scalloped edges on top of the exquisite charger plates which brought finesse and style to our gorgeous tablescape not to mention the elegant contrast of colors. However, for a truly upscale look, we paired these beauties with our gold baroque cutlery and gold-rimmed stemware and glass cups adding a serious dose of metallic glitz and glamour. To further enrich the table settings, we also popped in some scented white silk rose petals in glass mason jars placed beside the dinnerware to permeate the intoxicating scent of love and romance all over the place.

Table Decorations

Next on the agenda was the question of how to decorate a romantic table for two, which we tackled with loads of greenery, plush flower arrangements, and lots of candles for a posh and scintillating impact. To begin with, our runner of exotic artificial vines arranged on the edge of the table featuring an intermingled display of lush foliage garland, white floral garland, and lighted green leaf garland has set the stage for our swoon- worthy table decorations. The lifelike feel and appeal of our artificial garlands harmonized the contemporary charm while the white cotton ball string lights adorning the lower edge of the table added a touch of flair to the modish table aesthetics.

While we were at it, we decided to add more bucolic accents to our sweetheart table decor. Hence, we have placed our white wooden planters bedecked with an assortment of fake succulents on both ends of the table which proved to be a great addition to our chic table decor and complemented well with all the other greens on the tablescape. For a cute little signage, we ended up displaying an idyllic wooden hanging plaque announcing the love for that special someone.

As it is no secret that candlelight is the hallmark of romantic decorations, using a bunch of candles in our date night table decorations made perfect sense. While a few white votive candles with clear glass votive holders were arranged along the edge of the table with the greenery garlands, our shimmering gold votive candles in crystal clear globe votive holders were positioned beside the place settings to ooze a mesmeric glow. Moreover, we also placed two sets of ivory LED candles on either end of the table with our wooden planters. The varying heights of the LED candles not only added gorgeous dimension to our tablescape but the fluttering candlelight was a great addition to the ambient lighting.

Since no romantic table decorations can be complete without some gorgeous blooms gracing the tablescape, we decided to bunch together a stunning bouquet of white colored silk flowers to strike a perfect match with the lovely floral garland. Although you can also use fresh flowers for your floral arrangements we recommend that you follow our example and opt from our luscious selection of artificial flowers that’ll never wilt away to save yourself the hassle without compromising on the aesthetics.
